The spatette Trump has had with Columbia. Does it look like Trump 'lost' that? Also, the pres of Columbia is sending his jet to pick the people up, apparently, surely that's giving trump the finger.

Nope. That's being bullied. Not easy to stand up to someone who has the levers that he can pull, I agree. But every time he gets his way from bullying a smaller nation to do his bidding, he gets worse. Difficult to see a way past this though. |

I get that. Think Colombia would be wise to start trying to concentrate on other markets for it's exports, the threat of tariffs will turn an ugly backdrop to anything they do for the next 4 years. |

Who could possibly have predicted that an unholy alliance of govt IT project and generative AI would go wrong? I mean, it had all the ingredients for a stunning success.

I'm willing to bet Trump doesn't care about the price of coffee that much.... which makes Colombia an easy target to bully first. (I'm sure they do export other things to the USA too!) |

[I’m pretty sure the export of white powder won't be affected - Customs exempt!]

The US is a rogue state now. Sooner or later the price they pay for the baby's tantrums will have a political cost. For instance, flipping the house/senate in a couple of years. That would make him fill his diaper to previously unseen levels.

Trumps problem with knackering Columbian coffee, as you've alluded to Macca, is the farmers would swap to Coke production giving the US a bigger problem, although I don't see Trump being worried about an over supply of that

If only we were in a trading bloc big enough to tell him to FRO with his bullying eh? As it is, we are easy pickings.
