Re the Tory MPs, how many remained as MPs after the election (the link may contain the info). I seem to remember a few were blocked and essentially that's why it ended up as a purge and so the party following the general election was one generally blindly obedient to Johnson.

The answer is indeed in the link. On 29 October 2019, 10 of the suspended MPs had the whip restored; of these, six stood down at the December 2019 election, while four contested it as Conservative candidates, all retaining their seats. Of the 11 who remained suspended, six declined to stand at the election, while five stood as independents or Liberal Democrats; all five lost their seats. |

I have solidarity with the English, Welsh and Northern Irish and want to stay in the union, as do a majority of fellow Scots. You seem to forget that frequently HappyG.

The thing is, how tribal are the SNP views? Is it possible to transcend the I will wear the football shirt of every team that plays against England?

Sorry Bazo and Mrs s, yeah, when I said we (even as a jokey comment!), I meant "we the 45%". Obviously I can't speak for all of Scotland. I'm just a wee nyaff making a silly comment. G

Thanks😀G, you're not a nyaff I supported England in the Euros final! I'm happy to support all the home nations. I'm also one quarter English and I thought they were a good team 😀. They played better than the Scottish team, that's for sure. |

Shapiro has a sex assault allegation against him from someone in his own office. Run a mile. Kelly has been anti union. Probably why the Harris team have approached Mayor Pete. That would be a formidable choice.

Good points. But Kelly is an actual astronaut. Top Trump. As it were.
