I would suspect it's more to do with his attitude than his outfit

It's whatever the observer decides to deduce or infer from the picture, surely.

The facemasks Tory vs Lab benches is stark. But the Tories would be ripe for criticism if they all sat there wearing masks whilst telling us all it was for us to judge and removing mandatory face covering wearing in places like schools etc.
I'm sure JRM's offspring made well informed decisions about his sartorial choices so we shouldn't criticism or lampoon the young lad in all honesty. "Posh shaming" is fundamentally no different to "fat shaming"; each to their own I suppose?

True.
But what I implied when I reposted it was that he really was born into the wrong century, and that if he wants to do well in this century, he should modernise his attitude.
Though apparently Mr Johnson and his friends don't agree with me, and think the outdated 'gentleman' is fine as he is.

Not sure if JRM junior would’ve had much choice, surely whatever nanny would’ve laid out for him would need to be worn?

I have a colleague who lives in JRM's constituency and was door-stepped in the run up to the 2017 GE.
Apparently the kid was dressed pretty much as in the picture, but playing in a tree on the street like any normal kid would be, bored whilst his dad did his boring politicking stuff.
My colleague said she felt sorry for him (the child).
