TRO Saracen
......and he can go back with any proposal however ludicrous and scream ‘they’re unreasonable and intransigent’ when the EU reject it. That’ll fly with the gallery he’s playing to.

JDA - maybe....not sure. If the HoC has NC it has NC. TRO - yes. And no. Yes, he can try, but if it's really obvious it's not going to work or is utterly ridiculous (which let's face it, it is going to be), then the EU can turn round and say please explain in detail how this will work. And he won't be able to answer. The crowd you're talking about will scream "betrayal" whatever. But that's only ~20% of the electorate. He needs more moderate voters to get on board. |

bbc.co.uk A bit odd that they didn't speak to Stander first, I'm sure he would quickly have put their minds at rest. |

From that very article:- 2Last week, the government announced a tender for a £25m contract for express freight services to deliver medicines with a short shelf life within 24 hours. Pharmaceutical companies have been told to build up stockpiles of six weeks' supply of drugs. Novo Nordisk, which manufactures insulin, told the BBC it had 18 weeks' worth of supplies in the UK and had secured ferry capacity to renew stocks. " *drops mic |

There you go then, job's a good'un. After all, when faced an anonymous commenter on the internet, versus the heads of 17 royal colleges and health charities across the UK, there's no contest as to who is more credible.

So this is caused entirely by Brexit. Remind me of the hard physical tangible benefits that will improve my life, my family's life, my friend's lives and co-workers?

jda - that's the thing about Brexiteers they know more about the economy than economists they know more about the climate than geographers, meteorologists, geologists they know more about the law than lawyers they know more about probability than mathematicians they know more about trade than university professors who specialise in trade they know more about medicine than doctors they know more about the future than Nostradamus Next time I'm wheeled into A&E missing both my legs, my arms, I hope I'm seen by a Brexiteer rather than doctor, because obviously such a fucking genius would be able to reassemble be into a bionic superman. |

Guys, I'm not the source for that BBC article or the information within it. JDA posted the link to try and prove his point about drug shortages, but in that very article are examples of just what is happening right now to combat that issue. It's just like Fozzy claiming yesterday that no unilateral deals would be done and then highlighting one just three posts later. If you guys want to argue both sides of the debate simultaneously, then please do so. I'll leave you to it. |

So why were all these 17 health leaders issuing the urgent warning, then, Stander? Is it because they're doom-mongering remoaners? Or is there a chance that they actually have a better grasp of the severity of the situation than you do?
