Easy to go down the wrong path and (as I remember) it leads you off in a SW direction. I do remember Sunday afternoons travelling down to the northern edge of the watershed just to recce the bit from Outer Edge through to Wainstones, not easy for those uninitiated. On the day we got it exactly right, but annoyingly a team followed us and benefitted from all our prep. We tried to lose them, but I'm not sure we did.
