Not for a while DT. Still going though. Fits nicely with a walk/run round Chrome Hill, which is always a pleasure and well worth a visit for anyone based in the Buxton/Monyash/Hartington area.

Buxton Advertiser has picture of water seeping over part of the dam wall. Domino's has sent pizzas for residents & emergency staff and local hotels & guest houses are offering free o/night accommodation. 6000 have been evacuated. buxtonadvertiser.co.uk |

Can't believe I missed this thread before. Lovely place. I was in Castleton today & am back there tomorrow. I *might* just be Wild Camping nearby tonight under an amazing full moon :D
