it may be that starting two in a similar area over the summer holidays was not ideal. however hopefully it can get through the next few weeks and a bank of volunteers can develop to be pooled with both events.

I don't understand why parkruns are rolled out when there isn't a core base of support to take charge. Who decided to instigate Solihull if it's likely to die on it's arse so quickly?

If I've understood correctly. It seems Solihull was part driven by the local authority. Surely it should be the local runners that drive parkruns forward, given that it's they that will have to keep it going, week in, week out.

Seems to me that a lot of drive is just to get more and more ParkRuns started and not worry about enough people.

That said with 130 registered users why are they not helping ?
