Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Looby Loo I was smitten by the course at East Park the first time I ran there, there is something about the hills there that just make racing irresistible. The core team there are great, and although I still miss the old cafe (with just two big round tables forcing people to be sociable) the parkrun still has a great atmosphere.

Walsall is my home town, my closest parkrun, and the Arboretum is where I started to run (It is both were I started to run as an adult and also where I had some of my School PE lessons almost 20 years before) so it will always hold a place in my heart, but I only tend to end up there for special occasions.

Exmouth did an amazing job today. Crowded course because of the closure of part of the Esplanade so a three lap course, lots of people lapping others and overtaking was difficult. Marshals were really clear and people obeyed for once. I suspect a few of the quicker runners may have had difficulty overlapping in places but for those of us in mid pack it was fine.
550 runners, perfect storm when two closest parkruns, Exeter and Seaton, were cancelled this week!
Fortunately the tide is out next week so a short run along the beach and back to a single lapper.

Easter raffle at Sutton Manor parkrun for some Easter eggs. Unfortunately if I was one place higher or lower in the results I'd have won one!

You pay £5 for a full day’s parking. Free for 15 minutes but that’s no use.

I hate trails and there was quite a lot of rain last night and this morning so very muddy in places.

You definitely are a glutton for punishment 🫣

You can legally park for free at several points on the road to the Aonach Mor car park for Fort William parkrun. The closest will allow a short warmup on the final section of the course.

Thanks, for me it won’t be one I’m rushing back to. Plenty others I’ve still to conquer
