Lucky you Bint. I bought a large pack of smoked salmon so I think I'll be having the same tomorrow, but will be getting more creative from next week.

Mine will often be leftovers or the same thing for a week so I am hoping for some inspiration for tasty, healthy, thrifty lunches.
And there is always a bowl full of fruit on my desk.

Tuna, can of. Salad cream.
Eaten 'a la can' with a fork.
Its pretty frugal but takes 5 hours to digest.

Great idea for a thread. I nearly always have the same packed lunch so I'd like some interesting alternatives.

Never seem to find the time to make a packed lunch, so if no-one minds I will sort of lurch around here and try and get some inspiration. Thank you

We have amazing school dinners - all cooked from real, fresh ingredients and there is always an interesting and usually very low fat vegetarian option. I'm looking forward to the new menu! (We pay adult prices but it is still quite cheap and definitely worth it!)

I usually have a bagel with peanut butter and fruit but now and then do a salad with tinned tuna. Tomorrow will be the bagel option. Hang on though, I have got smoked salmon in the fridge...
