OK, another new adventure. Have now entered a 5000 m track race! To date, have never even set foot on a proper athletics track ...

Daikin Night of 5s, Sat 21st Dec at AUT Millennium Stadium, Auckland

Needless to say, I entered the 'Mixed Grade/Open' (social?) option.

Alas, I am still going to be a looong way behind the rest of the currently entered field 🙁, the oldest of whom is 51. Oh well, hopefully worth it for the experience! At least doing something new. Not certain it is the best timing though with my HM four weeks later.

Got something to say?
