I’ve recently had my 4th mammogram, EP, and I’m 58. I had my first soon after my 50th birthday and have had one every 3 years since, though this one was a bit early. Results back within 2 weeks. It’s very efficient.

Yeah I also had my first boob squish shortly after turning 50. Incredibly efficient process.

I’ve had 4 routine ones, one I paid for privately and one through a referral. The one I was referred through was a stop does all so had an ultrasound done as well. The sorest thing I’ve had was a needle biopsy- bloody worse than any squish.

I got 1 age 53, 1 after I found a lump, aged 55 and none after: because of Covid, they cancelled all screening and preventative surgeries, hence now dealing with stage 3c Ovarian cancer... Which, for mysterious reasons, involves no more breast screening... So 59, I had 2, one routine, one because of a lump. |

My mum and aunt both had BC and my mum died at 57. I’m very paranoid about any lump, bump or pain.

The shingles vaccine was initially offered only to those aged 70, but is now being offered to a wider age range, but not over 80s due to the reduced efficacy of vaccine in that age group. gov.uk |

I had my first boob squish in my late 40's and regularly since. Ironically one my friends works in the mobile unit and has just been diagnosed with BC |
