Glad you’re not abnormal Diogenes. Well, at least not in one respect.😉

My dad had a few flat caps and a tam o’ shanter - probably bought when on holiday in Scotland - but a nod to his slightly Scottish heritage. Quarter of Lions midget gems here. I still treat myself every now and again to genuine Lions midget gems (where the black ones are liquorice, and they are harder than the Maynard copies) from Amazon. |

Did he get free sweets Riggys? A friend used to work for Mars and she was always handing out bags full! Another friend worked for unilever and had me on the payrol as ice cream tester for new flavours they were developing. Dream job, thankfully not full time 😱 I also used to love dolly mixture LG. It would come in child sized small bags. |

There was a factory shop which had cheap sweets not just from that factory but others in the group. Think he used to get some free stuff as well. By the time he worked there I had kids so they would have benefited |
