I retired at end of May this year at 55 and haven't regretted a day.
This is my current view

Don't recognise either of them. The one on the left may be a Mistral by the colour?
Sue's planning to retire next year at 60.
Financially, and since I don't particularly hate my job and it's only nine days a fortnight, ideally I'll hang on to 63, although 62 will probably be where I end up drawing the line. I'm 58 later this month - so soon but not *that* soon.

My pension is going to be worth half of Boris' weekly takeouts a year so I'm not retiring any time soon.

I'm 55 next year. I will be looking at my options very carefully with a view to at least going part-time.

I "retired" in my forties and recommend it very highly, although pandemic has put something of a dampener on things so far.

I won’t be retiring but unlike most people I haven’t had a full time job since 2003, I currently have a job as a relief PA, 0 hours contract to cover the PA when she has holiday or can’t work!
I will likely need to get a job later in life although I have no idea what I’m going to do 😂

That reminds me. About 10 years ago we were on a family holiday. Mrs Axe was between jobs at the time.
We were sat one night at a roof top restaurant and Mrs Axe said I cannot wait to be retired. My daughter said 'Mum, how can you retire when you don't have a job !'
