Probably not, Greppers. It’s in a lot of common stuff most folk would have in their first aid box...... medicines.org.uk |

flu jab declaration form? My check was a verbal "any allergies?" 5 secs before the needle. |

I'm getting .t done at work but it's a Morrisons Pharmacy declaration form, which worryingly says "To be retained by Morrison's". If they can't be trusted with an apostrophe I'm worried what they are going to do with a needle.

I got flu jab earlier than most 51 year olds by answering that I was in a household with an older person (extended household with Mum, 84) with health condition (COPD). Wonder if they'll do something like that for the coronavirus vaccine prioritisation. Great news though. And hopefully a fast and effective roll out. G |

GregP -I'd be surprised if anyone knows what it is other than pharmacists and chemists! Wikipedia says "It is one of the components of the topical antiseptic cetrimide" which is what I guess they would swab your arm with prior to a flu jab? It also says "Appearance: white powder". Are you allergic to white powder? |

🎄FestiveMedals🎄
On Monday, I noticed, on the village Facebook page, a message from the medical practice saying they had more flu vaccines in and anyone over 50 could get an appointment. I was on the phone within 15 minutes of it being posted - it took a few redials to get through and then there was a massive long message about COVID and what to do if you are dying - but I got Mr GM and me booked in for the first appointments on Thursday afternoon. Yesterday, we both got a text offering the flu jab - I suspect it would be harder to get through on the phone after that went out, so another advantage to being at home with not a lot to do during the day! |

I'm giving blood next week (gold star to me!) so I think I won't push for a flu jab until after that.... I'm sure it probably wouldn't be wanted if recently inoculated.
