Sigh
Yes, I didn't have that one. A friend of mine was a big fan of theirs, plus his Dad had a record shop, so he got everything. Actually it might have been '86 when I saw them - they were well past their prime by then. |

Oooh. Thanks for sharing that. They sound like a functional, well rehearsed and soulless session band. And the vocals are much more horrible than I remember.

57.5 Degrees of Pain
One of the first live bands I saw, at an outdoor concert in 1984, quite good that day. They were the penultimate act behind Pallas, some prog rockers who I never heard of again. Guess the actual first band I saw were the opening act that day, Glasgow. A truly horrible heavy rock act.

I saw Pallas twice, once in the Glasgow Pavilion and once in the Tamdhu in Bannockburn. Their debut album "Arrive Alive" took inspiration from pedestrian caution signs in Cumbernauld. Also saw Glasgow several times, in the Burns Bar in Falkirk. Metal Daze! š The Burns Bar actually was not a very suitable venue in layout, even less so for letting off flashbombs in (as Glasgow did ) |

I thought Nazareth were still going. But my mind is also going.

I saw Pallas quite a few times in the late 70s early 80s, they used to play regularly in Highlands. Sure I still have their first (only?) album (vinyl of course!)
