JenLov, nothing else happened after that, he finished singing and it ended. Bit like a song just fading out, it didn't seem right.
However, I LOVED the rest of it, the massive iron rings, Bond and the Queen, the transformation of the stadium from country to industrial, but especially that cauldron. My daughter guessed early on that the copper petals were part of the cauldron, but we couldn't have imagined how amazing it would be.

I have a HUGE favour to ask - did anyone record the Opening Ceremony (and/or the build-up programme before it)? Our digibox threw some kind of fit last night and hasn't saved them :-(((
The ceremony is due to be on iplayer, but only as a stream, not as a download file, so we could see it, but not keep it.
I'll pay any costs involved.

I have just got tickets for the Mall for tomorrow's women's road race. Only 20 quid each, I can't sit on the sofa any longer, I need to see something live!

There's currently a 'no commentary' and and an 'audio described' version, they say the actual programme will be coming soon, so we should be able to see the programme, but I would like the opportunity to keep it, if I can.
I've seen the ceremony though - we were there
