I love this site for the option of noting 3 things when out running... So I thought I'd start a thread where we can share our 3 things.. I don't care if you walk, run, swim, bike or naked yoga in the garden. My three things.. 1. Mistle thrush song 2.Wild strawberry blossom 3. Hawthorn blossom |

This is a lovely idea for a thread. My 3 today were: 1. The scent of cow parsley 2. Fish topping in the river 3. The warmth of the sun after the rain. |

On my walk home earlier: 1. Nice brickwork on a new building that's being thrown up in the city centre. 2. Bichon Frise in the window - I've missed seeing his daft little face. 3. Spider webs between our bins - quick work since Monday |

Early run this morning - 1 - A buzzard flying about 2 - A red squirrel making lots of noise in the undergrowth 3 - The lovely forest (or what is left of it, thanks to multiple storms), I seemed to have it all to myself this morning. |

Thanks WayOfTheDruid, this is a great idea. 1. Our weekly litter pick walk route is much less muddy. 2. The growing lushness of the woods through which we walk. 3. The gentle humour and banter shared over coffee with friends after our walk. |

That made me smile after a stressful day out, my dogs are gentle happy creatures who find joy in the simple things and they tails wag as they walk 😂 |
