Just received this scam email. Supposed to be from HMRC According to the RFC presented, we send you your billing data in PDF. We attach document: 355782 565, series: 20370873. Please download the file attached to this email. To ensure the security of your data, the file is password protected. |

I got a clever scam before Christmas, it was just a text purporting to be from Tescos saying that if I wanted to make any changes to my Christmas delivery I should do so before 11.59 today. No link to click on and it said it was from Tescos with the Tescos Logo. I was a bit surprised as I thought I had a few more days to tweak my order so I went on line to change it quickly and I was right I had a further 5 days, so I looked back at the text and it was a single message not on my Tescos thread. I blocked the number , but I assume the scammers would have waited until after Christmas and sent further messages with links for payments and I would have trusted the emails because I would have thought it was on a legitimate thread. |

Minnie Mad that's quite a worrying scam message supposed to be from Tesco. That would be an easy one to fall for.
