Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

You could have paid someone to come in and fix that hole of yours. :-p

Have to sort your priorities AR. I prioritised a watch over polyfilla and feeding the kids for the next three months :-)

Perhaps you could make the kids' next meal dependent on their filling the hole?

You'd still have to buy the polyfilla, of course.

Unaware of the date, let alone the time, I was in the middle of paying for something at the self-service till this morning when the shop announced the two minutes silence. So everyone diligently stopped except of course the machines, and as a queue quietly built up behind me the machine was loudly asking me "Do you wish to continue?" then "Authorisation needed" (to cancel) i tried surreptitiously pressing a button but apart from a loud beep it started going on again after a short time. The lady next to me was repeatedly getting "Scan your clubcard to receive club card points". Still everyone observed the silence even if the machines didn't.

Sometimes organising parkrun throws something a little more exciting in your way.
