I managed to speak to them plus alert someone who knows them locally who was able to get the person some help. For this time anyway. Horrible to read someone’s intentions put out on the page like that and hard to know what to do, other than knowing I must do something. Quite a lot of feelings stirred up.

In other not entirely mundane news Grandchild No 3 put in an unexpectedly early appearance yesterday evening (32 weeks, 2.15kg) and so a lot of this weekend will involve suppport (emotional, logistical and practical) for Son1 and R. Everyone is ok, all is well, they are just a bit overwhelmed and shell shocked at the moment. No name for him yet, they were still at the discussion stage, but Son1 has apparently said that in the circumstances R can choose whatever name she likes ♥️
