I've just been sent a ciné film (on a USB stick, I haven't had to get a projector and white sheet out) which includes shots of me as an 11 year old. I haven't seen this film since the time it was taken.

There was a car on top of the wall of the pub* car park beside my house when I left for parkrun this morning. I should have taken a picture, as by the time I returned, it had gone.
Went to look at the wall anyway and exchanged a few words with the guy from the pub: the car owner's brother had turned up and had been very keen to recover the vehicle as soon as possible. However, word had got out and plentiful pictures had been taken and the police also attended.
The particular puzzle was how the car had got there - it was in the exit direction, and there wasn't much of a run up.
*not the ferret pub

The builder phoned this afternoon and says he might be able to start work next Wednesday. but also as it means emptying a whole wall-ful of fitted wardrobes (which are stuffed to bursting) and two big chests of drawers (also full) and sorting out clothes to keep/donate/send to the textile bank. And we're away from tomorrow til Monday.
I've been meaning to do this before, but without an actual deadline I never quite got round to it.

I saw a nearby town that I liked last week. I’m off to look at 2 more on Saturday.
Living in a village hasn’t been for me; worth trying it though as I was renting.

Fourth? Wow. Do the NHS just call you up after a set period for the next one or did you seek it out?
