I suppose it is a bit far for surface transport - though our last journey home by plane we were wondering how much longer it would have taken by car, and the answer was 'not all that terribly much'.

I am working on counting how many contiguous zones I have. Since Fetch has altered the presentation of the list of zones since I last did it, I am spending NYE with the ever-fascinating Unix SED command.

I have realised I can do most of it more easily in Oracle and I'm nearly there, but I'll leave it till the morning. So it's just a grep and a couple of sed in Unix.
