A chance to have a closer look at the Crosby coastal defences, reported to be crumbling and posing a threat of flooding to housing close to the coast. Even more worryingly, the rubble deposited to the north of the old coastguard station after WW2 is disintegrating and releasing poisonous substances.

Sorry - not too cheerful, that, was it? :(

Oh dear swittle, no but very worrying. I’m looking forward to a sunny weekend too Homer - marshalling at parkrun and then going to watch the parade at Pride in Manchester. Sunday is a run day.
