Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I’ve done lots of Sizzlers Homey, they aren’t nearly as scary as people think. You won’t be as near the back as me but I’m going to see how my ProJo work is progressing. The Sizzler is a fast course (and chip timed!)

It's a good race, they've changed the start this year too, you do a full lap of the track first (and when you get back), and they have markers for time at the side of the start, so it is much less frenetic.

Thanks WS and Jenny

I think I did one of these about 10 years ago but I was running sub-20 in those days, things have moved on. There were no chips and with PB chasing it was dog-eat-dog

With a chip and a 26-ish target, it'll be fine. I think I also am not a fan of evening races as I don't often run after 5 (getting my excuses in, in advance)

no homer, Sunday there was the usual ACL vessel, inbound, a pilot boat and a mid sized liner (ugly looking ship) & a dredger.

another RN ship heading out to the gulf, announced in earnest, not due until September! I'm no navigator but I defo know that it doesn't take that long to get to the gulf.

Nice day today - lunch in New Brighton & ice cream & Mrs J bought a new fangled telly for the living room - its presently driving Joe mad, he'll get over this and then he'll be obsessed with 4k!

I'll often see the scheduled Stena Line ferry [I think], and the Seatruck, the former out, the latter in, on my morning beach walk.
