What I did was spend a session trying to drown myself, to see how hard it is!

LOL thats one of the best pieces of training advice I have heard. I am still scared of OW though,

I used to canoe at Salford Quays and whenever I try and visualise how deep 50m is, I go all wobbly :-S

How deep is the Dee? (or Manley Mere, or Boundary?)

I'm trying not to think about it Farnie!!.

I'm not worried about drowning. I've always been a pretty strong swimmer. Its just I like to be able to see the bottom!!

SE - is Up and Running moving somewhere else in Manchester or closing the Manchester branch? The triangle is a funny place I find, full of (probably trendy) shops I never go in!
What new trainers did you get?

Swimming!? I haven't swum in months, too busy running. Provided your lungs are full of air you wont drown, unless they fill with water...

Lol, good advice there you tri types *shudder*

They are looking for new premises Jac - they're apparently in negotiation with their current landlords as well so may just be staying. You're right though, they don't really fit into the Triangle...

I am a rubbish floater, I have only just this past year learnt to relax enough to float in the water.

If you saw me treading water before I did Total Immersion, you would have put money on the fact I was having some sort of funny turn.

Jacobi, they are moving to somewhere else in manchester that isn't soooo expensive.

this is where you are all hiding *waves*

18 pages !!! mostly algebra no doubt ;-)

Sweatshop in Hyde used to be called "up and running" even tho it was nothing to do with the one in the triangle which seemed to caue a bit of confusion
