Not to do with the new training layout, but to do with when adding training, so sort of related.......... Would it be possible to order the kit list alphabetically ( ie same as it is in Train - Kit ) ? At the moment it's some sort of random order ( not alphabetically and not in date added order ) and with loads of running shoes, plus all the biking kit, it's not as easy as it could be to find the right kit item to click. Not a biggie, but if it's a simple change would be appreciated ( unless there is some logic to the current order that I haven't spotted and it would upset others if they lost that order ) |

New training log run layout The pop up menu from the pace chart when you hover over/select a bar, presents the overall pace value as time per mile, even if you have selected your user default as time per km - the unit is stated as time per km but the number is time per miles (which makes it look very slow!). Much prefer the new format thanks. |

Things that I still consider problems with this:- Default splitting - needs changing every time, far too many splits! Elevation data too granular resulting in either the pyramid graph showing unrealistic stuff (e.g. 27% grade) or being unable to show a scale as there is too much data Beats per mile graph is redundant - as a rolling average it just is too smooth, especially when contrasted with how granular the actual HR data is presented Lack of ability to smooth the HR, elevation, cadence graphs like wot we cud do in the old timez I do like lots of other stuff, but on balance I still much prefer the old stuff. I have tried to love the new one!! |

larks, when the next set of changes are implemented you will not want to let go of the current ones.......that's just the way it works

Indeed, I'm an old stick in the mud! But solve those four things and I'll be happy enough! Though I am mildly surprised I'm the only one. Perhaps my love for smoothed graphs is a very personal preference! I did just click back to the old format and reminded myself why I loved that. In fact, the logs here were the main reason I piled in, and then got sucked in by the nice people on the forums! |

I am like you, I hate change. Which for a Project Manager is odd !!!! I agree on the default splits, that's annoying I never look at the elevation closely so that doesn't bother me Beats per mile I haven't looked at lots, but probably should as that is a measure I monitor for the whole run, but could do with reviewing within runs as well. Will look at tonight Smoothing also wasn't something I ever used so doesn't bother me |

I love the default splits, maybe a personal setting to control or is that too much fiddling about?

That's what I'd like, some control other than the one size fits all excessive number we currently see.

I'd agree with your comment entirely larkim, I just cant get on with the new log, I'm just glad I'm not running beyond 10-12 miels at the moment, as a longer run must have several hundred splits. I still dont 100% get why there has to be very small splits at random intervals??? Overall the functionality of the new log is just not as good overall as the existing one for me. |
