It could still take a while to find the last 4! I'd like it if I could see the squares I've searched on the seek page... Unless I'm just missing something?

I agree with ♪♫ Synge ♪♫ that in the final stages it's all too easy to move your grid so that whatever run you do coincides with some remaining squares. Grid lock-down as soon as you're a seeker would be a new rule I'd support.

Having said that, I moved my grid so that some of my run would get 20 of the remaining NW squares. I get home and because others have had the same idea, I only got two new squares with zero hiders!

We did a couple of detours on our family bike ride and went to 2 squares that had not been hunted but we didn’t find anyone.

Here's the barebones of the new game:

How it works
The game generates a big three mile square with you at the centre. The square is cut into a grid of 1600 smaller squares.

During any given, unlock as many squares from your grid as possible (C19 permitting) by visiting them during your training. These are the places where you can 'hide'. Before the month is up, you must choose one of these squares as your hiding place.

When the first game kicks off (1st of the month), a lone seeker must start finding people, by visiting the squares. When someone is found, they become a seeker too. The seekers can then collaborate to flush out the hiders, and a growing army of seekers hunt down the final hiders.

The last person to be found will become the seeker for the following month.
