Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Quite realistic, I think.

We mustn't forget that he has a serious personality disorder! When he does that crying thing he's not just turning it on. I gather at that moment the individual genuinely believes he/she is experiencing that pain and distress. of course he DOES turn it on too ...but basically, he's a psychopath and Not as Other Men.

Good for Helen though!

I thought it was quite realistic.

I was once conned out of some money - for which the perpetrator was jailed. When I finally turned up to collect the cash (having been aided by various authorities) the chap asked if I would take a cheque... and he spent a lot of time telling me how hard done by he was, how misunderstood, and how my actions in aiding the police were unfair because I was causing him problems. He was not responsible ad it was all my fault. Apparently he spent the time in the cell before the trial crying at how he was being persecuted.
(I knew Rob reminded me of various people and he is one of them.)

Go Debbie!

(and I thought the episode referred to above was quite realistic too)

I know, I was cheering on two counts - because having Debbie back is a treat, and also for her comments to Rob :-)

A Christmas treat for all concerned.
Except Rob. Boo! Hiss!

But will he be driven to extreme measures now his poisonous ways are backfiring so forcefully?

A Christmas abduction? Or is that too far fetched?
My guess is the 'big' Christmas story will be the Pip/ Jill scenario.

With a bit of Borchester Land thrown in for good measure.

And Tom and Kirsty to get it on for the fourth time of asking?

Oohh I have some catching up to do.

Xmas Day episode.....I think they will relent and invite Pip and Toby in for some of Jill's stir up Sunday Christmas Cake. Pip will be grudgingly eating a slice when she breaks the news that she has lent Toby all the money she got from the cows. David will splutter cake across the room and start choking, Jill will burst into tears and rush outside, Ben and Josh will do all the usual little brother stuff and Ruth will say 'Oooooh pet now look what ye've done'

When did Ruari become 14? I thought he was still about 5 years old from the fleeting mentions

He's been packed off to boarding school for so long now I assumed the opposite TMW and that he was actually at university now but not being as clever as Phoebe it would be one of these new unis that used to be called a polytechnic so obviously Jennifer has never felt need to mention this.....
