I also put up zero decorations, then I went round to my parent's and enjoyed theirs without having to put in any effort :-)

Fleecy, I did a John Lewis personal shopping thing the other month to get a dress for a wedding - the one she found me had 60% off AND I got to sit in a lovely room on my own and read a book while someone else collected stuff for me AND I got to jump the queue at the till. It was far less painful than normal shopping.

I had a go with a personal shopper some years ago - it was lovely, I drank tea and people ran around gathering things. I tried on loads of things I wouldn't have picked out myself and I bought one or two of them :)

Perhaps a personal shopper would be the way to go for me - do you have to pay for them?

LG, off to the big city?

Dog walked. I can report it is bloody freezing out there. QP hoovered today AND he just brought in pellets for the boiler without complaining - not actually very mundane!! Sitting on the sofa after a busy day. Trying to find something to watch - recommendations welcome.

Debenhams personal shoppers are supposed to be good although I haven't tried them. They're free.

JL do a few different types - the one I did was free. You can do a 'whole new wardrobe' thing lasting about 5 hours(!) which the charge for but I think if you spend over a certain amount you get it back.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
