We had a cassette of nursery rhymes and children's songs which was popular in our car 25 years ago. The singing and the arrangements were both really good. My all-time favourite was the long version of Tom Tom the Piper's Son (the Over the Hills and Far Away version) and if I ever catch the opening or closing credits of episodes of Sharpe on a distant channel it takes me right back to long trips in the car when the boys were tiny.

If it's not rock he will stick headphones in. Bath earlier. Ella Fitzgerald sings Cole Porter was the soundtrack. My Mum listened to it a lot, especially after my Grandad died as it was his favourite.
