Boiling here, I just put the hose on a few plants which were looking thirsty. Then trod in the resulting puddle so my sandals and trousers bottoms are all wet. Good way to cool down :)
Struggling to stay awake now, ds2 won't be happy about doing tennis after school in this heat, and I don't blame him.

Moved the hose, wow but it's proper scorchio today! I've run out of pink Magnums too :(

A Chinook sounds like a Native American tribe.

And Bint's elephnat made me think of the gnat that sat on Alice's shoulder in "Through the Looking Glass", - in the train, I think it was. As big as a chicken.

In Patisserie Valerie having a highly unsatisfactory almond croissant (dry) while waiting for my car to be washed post MOT. I would have gone in the Sainsbury's cafe over the road but they had the air-con whacked up to 'South Pole in midwinter'. I know it's warm out but that was ridiculous.

Car passed its MOT.

LG - Think you need to threaten the life of your OH's golf clubs if the "visitors" keep on getting released.

Chinook's are native Amercans, NW, up around Washington State.

When I lived in CHicago, my flat was on Iroquois Avenue, they're native american tribe too.

Just unblocked the Dyson handheld and cleaned the filters. I reckon they haven't been cleaned in a couple of years by the state of them!

I tried a honeycomb Magnum today. Much too sweet, not recommended.

In a car. When I got in it said it was 48c! Now it says it's 31. Either way it is too damn hot and I stink and have to go to a meeting at school straight after ds2 has finished tennis. I might go sit in the clubhouse to work as it can't be hotter than this car.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
