I realised if was Australia Day when I wrote a cheque earlier. I need to make an appointment at the consulate and thinking about it they'll be shut due to the national holiday, so that phone call can go on tomorrow's list

well done .B., while McG is in the library he might want to look up calf and calfs: calf and calves.

My calves are shot. Really shouldn't have worn those shoes for 15 racing miles on Sunday but it did feel good at the time.
In other news, this teleconference thing isn't working and MrsHL's physiotherapy appointment wasn't booked with her physiotherapist. Tuesday is taking lessons from Monday.

We need a new pair of phones. One of them vanished shortly after purchasing and one is naff all use in a 3 storey house, you can't even hear it 2 floors away! The answering machine suddenly bursts into speech occasionally and gives me a right shock

My laptop is playing up again. Each time it does this I find a way to revive it; it's now a battle of wills between me and Microsoft.

My computers would be well advised to make wills.
