But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. They said they'd had a lot of "no shows" recently. I pointed out that I'd never missed an appointment and didn't want to do a transaction of that sort of money over the phone. She accepted that. Well she had to really.

No. I don't think so either. It was a BUPA dentist but it's recently been taken over by someone else. I might be looking elsewhere (seeing as I'm not an NHS patient and pay privately for my treatment anyway).

I might look for one that does that, Pix. The BUPA monthly plan included 2 appointments with the dentist a year and 2 hygienist appointments. Because of my teeth with implants in I have 4 hygienist appointments per year but only 1 check up with the dentist so it was more cost effective to pay for each appointment individually.
