Got wet on my lunchtime walk, so much so I had to dry my hair a bit when I got back. It was still better than being indoors.

Went to Home Bargains, only 2 tins of my favourite sardines. Hope they're going to get some more stock soon.

Trying to find trains from London to Southampton and back again. I have been too cautious with our train back to Scotland so hopefully on the day we might be able to change for an earlier train. If we can’t we spend a long time hanging around Euston station with suitcases.

Are you finding them OK LG? Typically on the hour from London, on the hour (and half hour) from So'ton. Unless the return is a weekend and nedding to check engineering work etc. Rush from London (4pm to 6pm) can be different, and very full. Ditto any trains to London before 8:30 ish
And from experience, boarding at So'ton after a cruise ship (or multiple) arrival can be busy and hectic with lots of people with lots of luggage.

Thanks Um. Yeah it’s the Saturday back I’m a bit concerned about but will have plenty of time to get back as I’ve made sure our train out of London is late afternoon. It just makes for a long travel day home but hey long lie Sunday can happen.
