I keep thinking of buying a garlic press I used to use lazy garlic the whole time but have started using the odd bulb of garlic and try to chop it fine

Little micro plane grater works best for me - a lot less faffy than a garlic press and easier to clean.

The best thing to help clean a garlic press with is a corn on the cob holder: the two prongs are perfect for pushing out the pellets of garlics that get stuck on the holes.
