Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Leftover chicken in freezer
Not sure exactly what tonight’s leftovers are …. I think one is chicken in a cheese sauce with some pasta not sure on the other!

(Tea seems to create 1 spare portion which was fine with old working hours)

Earlier this morning (after the phone contract renewal and cancelling the too expensive building insurance renewal), Off Roader told me the 'shed roof looked odd'.
I envisaged a blown off roof after yesterday's winds. Was ppleased to find it was only the very top strip of roof felt had blown over. I even found the bag of roofing nails within a few minutes. So it only needed a bit of hammering. At least for now.

I have detached the drainage bag, tapped the lid and changed the plaster, cleaning the skin with saline before putting a new one on. It doesn't seem to have drained all that much, but this is all new, so we see how things settle. I am not used to draining smaller quantities. Abdomen now tender.
Made a pint of herbal tea but pondering a brief lie down in bed.

Just re-arranged the window cleaner from tomorrow to April. He omitted to read my requested text I sent a couple of weeks ago.

My allocated dinner is too big for my appetite this evening so I'll make do with cheese and crackers. My cheese sandwich has been hijacked for sis & bil's tea.

Smoked salmon and salad was tonight's dinner in the Ness household. Mr Ness is washing up and then will make a pot of tea. I'm on the sofa.

Train delays. Currently sitting on a train which arrived 30 minutes late and is unlikely to move any further any time soon, but it’s warmer than waiting on the platform.

Told to get off the train on platform 6 and go to platform 2. No sooner had we got to the bottom of the stairs than we were told to go back and get on the train on platform 6. Lots of v cross people who had had seats and are now standing.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
