Yes to the beer Vrap!
I had a good sleep on the sofa earlier, with all doors and windows closed because of the building work, and a purring cat.
I am going outside. No sun and it rained all night... Will be interesting to see if it is still warm.

Been outside.
It is VERY muggy!
Cut back some of my hedge around my entrance, sentinel, trees. Looking much better.
Tried pleaching my crab apples but I cannot do much without getting in a ladder which would be unwise.
Inside dripping in sweat now.
Pondering some lunch.

Those ‘fritters’ look tasty Swittle.

My bargain of the day was £3.50 fabric softener ( I know;-) ) down to 50p in Asda. Two for me and two for DiL - unlike the woman who loaded her trolley with most of them

I need to clear away my prunings before I can leave my parking to go to the shops, just realised.
Had hoped to leave them till tomorrow...

We used to share scallops & chips when *ahem* taking a break from the school cross-country run!

'Scallops' in South Wales too. Never had the opportunity to find out what actual scallops would have been called in the chip shop.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
