The staff in the deli in Addingham two miles from Ilkley told me Betty's have trade-marked the term Fat Rascals, which I think is a shame. We need to go over that way later this morning and I can feel a visit to the deli coming on; they call them something like rock scones, maybe. The conversation came about when I asked for a 'Fat Rascal'. They do cherry shortnread too

It's gone dark, lights are on. I'll wait until later before I run after all.

The rain's starting, just as my original plan was to get out the door.

Good morning, all. Very warm here. Glad I was able to get run out of the way before the predicted storms set in. Got confused with my planned run route so ended up doing 11 miles instead of the planned 8 miles! 🙄 Have showered and had a big glass of orange juice. Now need to get some breakfast.

Ah but you do longer runs on Sunday, Pix. I generally don't do anything on Sundays. Well, unless it's a race day of course. 😉

I really enjoyed an afternoon tea in Bettys, we had a table downstairs next to the window. My friend treated me for my 60th which I much preferred to an indifferent meal out.
