HP - very much not mundane! beautiful in fact.

I on the other hand am painting a windowsill. Also covering up some blutak stains on a wall with a paint that's a bugger to cleam off my brush and hands. Now that's mundane ;-)

Electrical mechanical valve thingy replaced. Heating is back to working anf no buzzing or clonking.
Although it's nearly time to turn it off, isn't it?

I have returned from the dentist, which was interesting.
I am also feeling quite good today.
Since my mega detox Sunday morning, I seem to be on the up.
Ascites seems to be on the way down!
And I am not imagining things!

Better to do the repair now than leave it until it gets cold again and you have no heating at all.

Weight training done and cooled down. Phoned mum. Sorted out a black dress ready for packing and taking with me to Sheffield tomorrow. Can't find any tights to go with it. Will have to buy some tomorrow.

pedroscalls - we wondered whether to turn it back on ... and decided we'd do a few days to make sure the fix was working. Not have a nasty surprise in October.

We always run our heating for an hour or so in July/August and check it's going (a one off, not an hour every day). This follows a very cold October when my housemate/landlady discovered our boiler problem at the start of a rather cold October. The heating engineer who turned up nearly 3 weeks later at his next available appointment suggested it as a tip.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
