Sweats, flushes and muscle aches are really common medication side effects, sometimes with medications you wouldn't think of. Antidepressants, opioids and atypical painkillers are devils for it.

Yeah just never thought about how bad the sweats have become again (especially night sweats) since I started the antidepressants but last night tipped the scale.

You do, Pix. Don't do what I did, which was end up with sole custody of the surgery on my 50th birthday when all the other doctors buggered off on some pretext or another. It's no wonder I had a nervous breakdown the next year.

no that doesn't sound like a good idea!!
Work have given us a day off for our birthday this year - no one knows if this is a 1 off or not
and it's easter so I get over a week off for just 3 days!
Then it's our anniversary as we got married the week after my 21st

Nice! And underlines how abusive the NHS is, because a few years ago eL Bee! was told he couldn't take his birthday off because it's in December and there was an embargo on annual leave in December. That was the time I enjoyed taking the filters off and telling the managers and the other doctors that I was a fucking saint and they were all substandard human beings and could go to Hell in a handcart.

Reasonably chilled morning so far. I have pottered and done laundry, dishes and tidying. I have also cleared out the van and swept it to get rid of the sand. Small guest has watched Boss Baby episodes and now playing games on my phone. No guilt whatsoever given how much we have done over the last week.
