Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I’ve been into town and done all the boring shopping. Topps Tiles, Pets at Home, Next and Tesco. Came home and ate too much.

Weight training session done and Duolingo Spanish lessons done. Want to finish the scarf I’m knitting. The wool from secret Santa is very pretty!

Also watching Castaway. Have seen the whole thing at least twice previously and bits of it many, many times.

Went for a "quick" walk before dark and rain, bumped into a friend, spent ages talking, then it got dark and wet, so cut short and now heading for a bath with my book and the Week.

C bought us a new laptop and I’ve appropriated the old one for misc bits and pieces. It’s so slow that I might have to give up on the idea. This is why we got a new one.

Bought and set up a tablet. For use on my exercise bike (a sort of cheap peloton thing)

Amazing how much easier things are to set up compared to the early 90s when it took hours.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
