Forgot to check map before my run. Will have to try and fit in bug chasing tomorrow now. 😏🤣

Tea

Disturbed night with very odd dreams. If I were the sort to have a notebook by the bed I’d have the outline for a story to write.
Why do inconsequential people we haven’t thought about in years appear incongruously in dreams

anyone else noticed that we seem to be in sync with sleeping?!
The other day we all slept well and last night we all slept poorly!

I slept pretty well last night, only got up once (I think) and got straight back to sleep. I think the moon phases also make a difference.

I slept poorly too.

Not helped by the phone going in the middle of the night. It was a text message from parcel force 🙄🙄🙄 but when the phone rings ar 3.40 am, my adrenaline kicks in as I think my sister has died. Couldn't sleep after that... I mean, they sent an email as well. Why oh why do merchants insist on you filling in phone numbers? I don't use a mobile, so I have to give a landline... Think I shall start ding out my non functioning mobile number. I leave that turned off 95% of the day...

Oh Hann that would freak me too
I don't make calls after 9PM so anything after that to me is a concern
I spent many months over the last few years with my phone at my bedside when dad was ill

Fields & fountain, moor & mountain
That’s annoying Hanneke. I kept waking after short dreams and eventually decided this was because I needed a wee. Then successfully back to sleep.

Haven’t noticed any disturbance in sleep patterns here, Pix. Have finally convinced Mr Ness that the bedroom is too hot with the radiator on so he’s switched it off. It makes such a difference. I need cup of tea number two. My run seems to have dehydrated me a bit and I have the start of a headache.

halfpint of mulled cider
Application accepted. Now I need to decide whether to start in Jan but with exactly same workload (which is not manageable on FT hrs) or wait for colleague to return from maternity leave at Easter.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
