I took the old one to the tip for disposal. We're supposed to be able to leave small electricals out for the binmen but I'm sure they'd just chuck it in the back along with everything else.

You have to get the dose right, so I’ve been told, otherwise they might not make it to the toilets and then you’d have a nasty smell to put up with as well as the irritating person!
