Looks like the battery in my laptop has finally given up the ghost. Looks like I'll have to get it replaced. Bother.

I've got it all this week, eye hospital check yesterday, dentist this morning, massage this afternoon and tomorrow's hair appointment was cancelled as my hairdresser was suffering with covid.

I've replaced my battery in the laptop a couple of times Andy, bought on-line, quick delivery and easy to swap. I took the old one to the tip for disposal.

We're supposed to be able to leave small electricals out for the binmen but I'm sure they'd just chuck it in the back along with everything else.

[V'rap, I've realised I can't look back to see when you changed your avatar to a 'Happy New' one. I fully approve of the colours of women's suffrage...but my eyes can't read all of the legend around the edge.]

EP if you think you can get away with it then it's totally fine. Of course posting on here might cause you some issues in court later.

Incapacitation of them would be a better idea, Pix. Slipping something into a cup of tea or coffee? Not saying that I would ever have considered it, of course! [drop of Phenolphthalein might have worked wonders though 😜]

Definitely then. Shame you haven’t got access to the indicator solutions in a school chemistry lab. You have to get the dose right, so I’ve been told, otherwise they might not make it to the toilets and then you’d have a nasty smell to put up with as well as the irritating person!

About This Thread

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
