Breakfast. Sleep was a bit better last night. Not sure what the weather's trying to do out there.

I didn't fancy watching the Salisbury thing last night, I just know that I haven't been there since before the incident.

It was such a warm night! I woke up several times drenched in sweat, lay on top of the duvet to cool off, got chilly, went back under the duvet, woke up too hot again.

I think the reality in Salisbury was a bit more mundane - although potentially just as deadly.

I had an appointment in the hospital onthe Monday morning, and thought it odd that the A&E car park & dept was taped off. But the appointment was in a different section of the hospital and went ahead.
I then went into town and used that car park and the ticket machine (subsequently removed & destroyed), and only later found out what it was.
One of the key things over the following few weeks was the boredom of the police (initially, then downgraded to general security) on watch. They always seemed pleased to chat, and got fairly regular teas and coffees from the shops that were close but not closed off.
Plus the site of various things being carted off on army low loaders - ambulances, helicopter, cars etc.

Oh - and a slight moan that the choir seen at the start weren't even Salisbury Cathedral Choir (wrong colours), although quite a few of the places were real.

Tea. Had one of those sleeps where I wake up about 3 and spend an hour or two feeling on the brink of death with all my worries knocking to claim their dues before I go.

Fun.

Breakfast. Used a zero calorie syrup on it, as I need to wean myself off the dollop of Biscoff spread I usually put in.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
