People on property programmes only go on them because they’re too fucking picky to find a house the normal way. The highlight of one Escape to the Country was a woman dismissing a house because she didn’t like the duvet cover in the master bedroom And they always say stuff like ‘ooh our dining table/sofa/bed wouldn’t fit in here’ and you think if you’re spending a million quid on a house you could probably just change your furniture?
