Lizzie, my OH persuaded me to leave Beavers and I felt awful but I'm glad I did.

I've never been a fan of sweet desserts. As a kid at children's birthday parties, I was the one hoovering up the cheese sandwiches while the other were fighting over jelly and trifle and all that other rubbish.

Now T9 is a Cub, I'm less in tune with the little ones (and the logistics aren't simple). Not sure I want to move up to Cubs, although there will be a need, as they're quite... bouncy. I'll have to talk to the boss. We need new parents coming up from the bottom.

Indeed. And withdrawing will facilitate that.

I stayed in touch and helped out the odd week, gradually withdrawing. I still sometimes do odd events when no one else can, like Remembrance Day.
