Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Much improved, thanks dipps. I think I'll go and make a cup of instant coffee, I haven't drunk coffee for about 3 days now. Sis has just got back from the supermarket.

Took out a "Which?" subscription to research smartphones and found that the cheapest Best Buy costs double the amount I intend to pay. Remember why I used to hate Which? when my XH was a subscriber, and not just because it generated yet another pile of magazines.

Max, I put my lenses in the wrong way round for the first time a few weeks back and was very worried until I realised what I'd done (it was early...) -6 in one eye and -9 in the other is a difference bigger than what some people need corrected in the first place!

Did a KB/circuits workout in garage. Set up subscriptions online for magazines I read regularly and did an Avon order online (mainly handcream!!) whilst waiting for OH to come in from garage for lunch.

About This Thread

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
