Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

From what I read on FB, the residents locally did make a noise. Our house is quite soundproof so that's why I wasn't alerted at the time.

I heard what I think was my next door neighbour clapping and wondered what the hell was going on. Sadly her lone slow clap sounded a bit sad and sarcastic.

Dishes done. I'd quite like to just go to bed now. In fact i think I will. I really need to finish the god awful book my mother gave me for Christmas (she insists on buying me chick lit type stuff which really isn't my thing) and start something decent.

Roast dinner. I think I should go shopping tomorrow, getting a bit antsy about not having enough for more than another week and very few potatoes, onions and bread. Not enough flour for very long either.

I should be doing a menu plan of sorts and a shopping list. I'm a bit tired though.

Heading dow trails towards Crosby Marina, the outbreak of applause took me by surprise because there was so much! Followed up by a couple of fireworks and folk in the streets chatting. Well, it *is* Liverpool! :)

I thought installing Garmin Express on t'laptop (to hopefully fix the lack of communication between Garmin and phone) would be a simple click wait click affair. I was wrong.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
