Just finished work and realised I started there 13 years ago today....here's hoping the next 12 (unless the government move the goal posts again) go by just as quick.

I made the men working on the garage roof a tea and a coffee.

Too much caffeine. Feel like I’m having a panic attack. Fun!

I’ve noticed that the chaps with drills, jack hammers, angle grinders and leaf blowers have now shut the fuck up since my PhD has been submitted. Maybe they’ve moved to closer to Linds?

Made mooncakes, need a shower and to get changed ready to take ds1 to tennis, the kitchen is messy again somehow too

Had a phone call to say I've 'won' 7 days free accommodation in my choice of Tenerife, Orlando, The Aegean coast of Turkey or the Costa del Sol. Much as I fancy 7 free nights somewhere warm over the winter, I can't help feeling there's a catch* ;-)

*It's alright, I know there is. I have to sell my soul, or at least my bank account details, to a time-share company.

I spoke too soon. Unscheduled visit to Chichester and Southbourne. It will be some time before I am back in Havant to try again *sigh*

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
