Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I’m planning to set my alarm even on my days off because sleeping in does me no good at all.

My alarm clock based alarm clock failed again this am. One thing to achieve in its existence: deferred success.

Why is it that when you need the alarm you don't want to get up but when you can have a lie in with no alarm you wake up early?

Boiler service man is here. Made him tea. So lunch break from three and a half hours of fence painting. New gate took about two hours to do. Wanting the sun to come out.

Spoke to the coroner's officer about something I thought might not be mundane. The coroner's officer said it was far too mundane to bother the coroner with. He refrained from telling me to go and boil my head, but I think he came close.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
